School Of Evangelism Week Three

Our week started off by being invited by one of the pastors we are working with to go to a "waterfall" turns out there was a miscommunication and it was a swimming pool. After our hangout with the pastor and other church members, we went to a nearby park for an evangelism time. We met loads of school kids and got to hang out, teach english, and have made plans to continue hanging out with most of the people we met.

Next, we had the opportunity to host a pastors breakfast, about 20 local pastors from our area came, it was a good time to meet some of the pastors we hadn't yet met and were able to make plans for future ministry opportunities.

Friday was our first corporate meeting for Mega-Cities, we spent time sharing testimonies among the 21 teams in Mexico City, worshiping and praying together, as well as a time of evangelism within in different teams. During our time of evangelism we saw 27 people make decisions for Jesus.

Saturday was a busy day of evangelism teaching at a church youth group...Matt, Erin, and myself shared, Sarah was excellent in organizing the youth group for bible reading and share back times...Overall the evangelism time went amazing, hearing testimonies from the youth about how they had never done things like that before, yet loved doing it and didn't realize how easy it could be to share Jesus, was very encouraging.

On Sunday/ Children's Day, we got the opportunity to serve the church in helping out with their Children's Day celebration, including, crafts, trivia, bouncy thing-o's, food, games, Erin dressed like a clown handing out balloon animals made by myself and Matt...We also got to spend time investing into friends that we have made in the church, we went to a market place and shared a lovely dinner with them.

It has been so encouraging
to see God moving in the ministry we are doing, thank you for all of your prayers!

Much Love!
Kelcie

I'm Kelcie, I like people, baking, summer weather, the ocean, and Jesus!

Here's a bible verse that inspires me:  Mark 10:28-30

Peter said to him, "We have left everything to follow you!""I tell you the truth," Jesus replied, "no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age (homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—and with them, persecutions) and in the age to come, eternal life.
