Thailand- We spent a month in Thailand, and our team was in a different location every week! Our locations varied from being out west working on a goat farm, to being an hour from Bangkok working with a local church, to the north east doing ministry in universities, and lastly being back in Bangkok doing prayer walks and more university ministry. The first location, Kanchanaburi, was a huge to surprise to the whole team when we found out that we would be working on a goat farm! Kanchanburi was amazing; we worked with a local named, Arun along with his wife Pang as well as her family. They hadn't had a team all year and really needed help with the goat farm. Next on the list of places is a local church just one hour outside of Bangkok. We spent most of our time going around visiting church members, most of who live in slum areas. We also spent time helping teach English for their children's ministry. Next we headed northeast to a city called Korat. While in Korat, we focused on ministry in universities; we hosted an English camp and made some amazing friends. Finally back to Bangkok for our last week. We also did some more ministry in a university that was right across the street from where we were staying. As well as the university we went on a tour of the many Buddhist temples around Bangkok and had the chance to pray for all of the people visiting the temples.

Ukraine- After traveling for more than twenty-four hours we arrived in Kiev, Ukraine. We had no idea what to expect. None of us had ever been to Ukraine before. We spent our first week offering practical help to a school for autistic children. We did things like painting, cleaning, and redoing wallpaper. Then we were on the move once again; we found ourselves in a small town working with a Christian camp. All of their summer help was gone and God really coordinated us to be there a just the right time. We helped with meal preparations as well as cleaning. We also got to help them in further development of the camp property by building the framing of a new cabin. After spending nine days at the camp, we traveled back to Kiev for our last week of outreach. We spent our last week going into the city feeding needy and homeless people, giving them homemade sandwiches. We finished up our last week and were ready to go home, it seemed like a long time since we were in Australia. So back on the airplane for another twenty-four plus hour adventure!

Here's a bible verse that inspires me:  Mark 10:28-30

Peter said to him, "We have left everything to follow you!""I tell you the truth," Jesus replied, "no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age (homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—and with them, persecutions) and in the age to come, eternal life.
