Three Week American Tour!

21/2/2012

Last Wednesday I arrived back in the USA, I had some pretty crazy adventures before heading back to the states...One of those adventures entails going on a five hour road trip to Canberra to see Evan and Zoe Buckley (I love them so much!). We got back Tuesday afternoon, I packed that night and then began my travels to America the next morning. My two good friends Emily and Jaso were getting married in Phoenix, so I arrived in Wednesday night, met up with Emily Thursday afternoon, bought stuff to bake cupcakes (for the wedding, see pictures below...)
It was such an honour to go to their wedding. I was also able to make a speech during the reception and it was so difficult to think about what to say because I can say so many positive things about both of them not only individually but also about them as a couple. I'm excited to get back to Newcastle to work with them as well as spend time with them as friends.

After the wedding I flew to Washington DC, to visit my family!!! My mum and Dad picked me up at the airport and I was surprised to find out that my Aunt and Uncle were visiting as well! It was so good to see my parents, brother, and other relatives after nearly a whole year. Right now I am just trying to relax a bit and soak up this time I have with all my family. My brother's fiancée/ future sister-in-law, is coming to visit for the weekend so that will be fun. They are getting married later this year in October, so I'll be back to the states again for their wedding. Ohmylanta, this year is already pretty busy!

Please keep me in your prayers in the areas of health and finances. Life has been so busy and I've been traveling so much(and its only February!), being in all these different climates is really messing with my immune system, pray that I will not get sick and that all the traveling will not exhaust me too much. Also with all this traveling, it obviously takes more money, I'm believing for a lot of breakthrough this year in the areas of finances. I would like to double my monthly support so that I can continue in ministry and begin saving for future outreach opportunities.

Thanks :)
Peace & Love

I'm Kelcie, I like people, baking, summer weather, the ocean, and Jesus!

Here's a bible verse that inspires me:  Mark 10:28-30

Peter said to him, "We have left everything to follow you!""I tell you the truth," Jesus replied, "no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age (homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—and with them, persecutions) and in the age to come, eternal life.
