It's SUNDAY!!!!!

This past week has been full of meetings, training sessions, connecting with people, and a feeling of excitement as well as anticipation (SOIYM). There was singing, dancing, and laughing all while praising God. The constant theme being that 'the joy of the Lord is our strength'. When we rest in the security of God's promises and understand the gift of salvation that has been freely granted to us and will not be taken away we have reason to celebrate. This act of celebration brings forth that ever so mysterious 'joy of the Lord'. Only through this God given joy can we stand our ground and find our strength because it demands a reliance on God and not ourselves. In life we will face troubles, we will face disappointments, we will face failures, BUT we have a God that cares deeply and powerfully, who understands the cries of your heart. So celebrate! Stop your grieving and weeping, give it to God and rest in his faithfulness.

Nehemiah 8:10
Then he said to them, "Go your way, eat the fat and drink sweet wine and send portions to him for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord; and do not be grieved, for the joy of the LORD is your strength."

I'm Kelcie, I like people, baking, summer weather, the ocean, and Jesus!

Here's a bible verse that inspires me:  Mark 10:28-30

Peter said to him, "We have left everything to follow you!""I tell you the truth," Jesus replied, "no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age (homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—and with them, persecutions) and in the age to come, eternal life.
