Surprise from God/ Praise Report!

I have been back in Australia for nearly two months now! Some weeks go by slowly but in general time has gone by very quickly. The past couple weeks (leading up to last week) I was asked to pray about going to YWAM Australia's NLM (national leaders meeting). I didn't really want to go because it would mean I would have to pack my bags for another week and be gone somewhere...I was just feeling tired. So I said NO to going, although I still had some hesitancy in saying no, I was very much looking forward to a nice relaxing weekend.
After I had given my official no I still was asking God if I should go, I said "Lord if you really want me to go, can you confirm it?" I asked God to confirm if I should go by having someone donate to me. I wasn't asking God to provide the finances needed for this trip through the donation but just to confirm that I should go through receiving a donation. The conference started on Monday morning so I was quite settled in the fact that I wasn't going. However, on Saturday morning before we began our youth program called Youth Street, I received an email informing me that I had received a donation. I instantly thought about the conference and knew that I needed to go. The other amazing part was that the donation actually could cover all my expenses to go! I quickly pulled together the details and booked my transport as well as registered for the conference and I left Monday afternoon (I missed the first day...)
The conference was AWESOME! We heard from our International President- John Dawson. He spoke about the value of families and individuals. We also heard from the different YWAM leaders from around Australia and the various forms of ministry that are happening. God is doing a lot of amazing things all around the world! I also got to meet many other YWAM leaders and staff members to connect with them more personally about what they do inYWAM and what God is doing in their lives.
Overall it was a really encouraging, fun adventure!
It is so amazing how God provides for us, whether that is through confirming the paths we should take, financially providing for our needs, or emotionally/ spiritually providing the encouragement He knows we need.

I'm Kelcie, I like people, baking, summer weather, the ocean, and Jesus!

Here's a bible verse that inspires me:  Mark 10:28-30

Peter said to him, "We have left everything to follow you!""I tell you the truth," Jesus replied, "no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age (homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—and with them, persecutions) and in the age to come, eternal life.
