School of Evangelism, Week 5&6

WEEK 5
OVERVIEW

Our week began with being invited over to the house of a pastor we are working with, it was incredible! The pastor and his family knew that Monday was our free day so they simply wanted to bless us for the afternoon.

After the wonderful blessing from the pastor and his family we entered into a new week full of opportunities! We were able to run two evangelism seminars with two different churches. We hosted another cafe night on Thursday continuing to go deeper in the friendships we have already established. Friday night we went to a local hospital, we weren't allowed to actually go into the hospital and pray for people; so we spent time with the relatives of the patients praying for the sick people and the families. We also gave out free coffee and tortas (sandwiches).

WEEK 6
HIGHLIGHTS
-Wednesday, Mega-Cities Corporate Meeting!!! This corporate meeting was sadly our last corporate meeting, but it was once again an encouraging and uplifting time of hear what is going on in Mexico City as a whole. We spent time pray for God to do more and once again set out for a corporate time of evangelism.
-Saturday, in the morning we spent time praying and seeking God's plans for the last two weeks of our outreach; this turned into a time of Lordship. It started with a team decision to continue to fight for better health, this then turned into a time of giving things up to God, once again making him our number one. We then joined the local youth group, followed by ice cream!
-Sunday, we were able to host an evangelism seminar for the young people of the church. We each had the chance to share on subjects such as: supernatural evangelism (healing, prophecy, etc.), hearing God's voice, servant evangelism, testimonies, context, and we ended with praying and getting more of a heart for evangelism. It was an incredible time!

Thank you for all the prayer and support!

-Kelcie

I'm Kelcie, I like people, baking, summer weather, the ocean, and Jesus!

Here's a bible verse that inspires me:  Mark 10:28-30

Peter said to him, "We have left everything to follow you!""I tell you the truth," Jesus replied, "no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age (homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—and with them, persecutions) and in the age to come, eternal life.
