Never a dull moment...

So once again... It is busy here in Newcastle, and like the title there really is never a dull moment! We have finished two more weeks of lectures entailing the topics of 'Prayer, Intercession and Spiritual Warfare' as well as 'Unlocking The Potential Within, Spiritual Gifts, Strengths, etc..'

'Prayer, Intercession, and Spiritual Warfare'
We had the awesome opportunity to go around the city of Newcastle and pray for different areas that impact youth culture!
'Unlocking the Potential Within...'
Was an encouraging time of discussing strengths not only individually but also as a team. We also shared about spiritual gifts that God has blessed us with such as leadership, teaching, giving, and much more!

As far as this week goes, it started off with an adventure to Sydney... I had found out the night before that my visa had expired (a bit unexpectedly b/c I thought it was expiring the 11th of Feb.) So I had to go to the Department of Immigration and Customs to sort it all. I have been granted a bridging visa for three weeks that allows me to continue studying. However, I will still have to leave the country to apply for a new visa and am currently in need of finances to cover my fees for the new visa, the flights to and from NZ, as well as the money I still need to cover my lecture fees. I am confident that God is going to provide because I know that He has called me here for this season. If you could please pray and believe with me for the finances needed that would be a great help!

p.s. I will keep you all posted on what happens next!

I'm Kelcie, I like people, baking, summer weather, the ocean, and Jesus!

Here's a bible verse that inspires me:  Mark 10:28-30

Peter said to him, "We have left everything to follow you!""I tell you the truth," Jesus replied, "no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age (homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—and with them, persecutions) and in the age to come, eternal life.
