If you're the praying type...

Prayer is powerful and it really does work! And I'm realising more and more how important it is not only to pray but also to make prayer requests known to others so that we can be supporting and encouraging others. So here is a basic list of prayer points.
  • The SOIYM (School of Innovative Youth Ministry), this is the training school I am currently involved with and we have about two weeks left. Please pray that God will continue speaking to me for the school and that we can have a strong finish.
  • Finances, as a full-time volunteer, I don't get paid for what I do. One of the SOIYM students and myself are currently needing to see major financial breakthrough. All up we are trusting for God to provide about $1,800. I currently need about $750, to be up to date with all my staff fees that will cover up until Christmas.
  • Youth Street, our youth ministry department is still pushing forward with our Saturday programs and we are seeing God do incredible things but we are wanting to take on a bit more, especially being involved in various high schools. Right now we are working on a seminar to address youth bullying, we hope to begin running it after the new year.
  • Property Development, aside from all the other stuff going on, we as a whole base are still moving forward to see the development of our warehouse happen. We have had the warehouse for nearly four years now and we are still needing to see change happen, so that we can fully operate our programs from the warehouse. We need a miracle. At present we are waiting for the council to sign/ approve the paper work so that we can move ahead with other construction projects.

Thank you so much for you prayers and I sincerely hope this inspires you to pray and see change happen!

I'm Kelcie, I like people, baking, summer weather, the ocean, and Jesus!

Here's a bible verse that inspires me:  Mark 10:28-30

Peter said to him, "We have left everything to follow you!""I tell you the truth," Jesus replied, "no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age (homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—and with them, persecutions) and in the age to come, eternal life.
