God is doing a 'Nu Thang'!

Aside from the SOIYM lectures and learning heaps of stuff about youth ministry and youth culture, I have been really excited about working in our Youth Street department. God really is doing a new thing among us and we are seeing that carry into our crews' lives. Our theme for this term is 'What is God Like?'. We have been going over topics like: Holy Spirit, Hearing God's Voice, and God is a Father. Please keep praying for our ministry...That God would continue guiding us and transforming the lives of youth in Newcastle!

Lately, I have felt really challenged in what God has called me to and what I am doing to step up and see Him move in my life. I want to see God do amazing things and I have seen God do amazing things already but I don't want to lose that hunger and desire for more. I don't believe that God just wants us to settle for ordinary or what we simply see in front of us. Technology is constantly changing and advancing, youth culture is constantly developing, new medicines are being put into use...If we were meant to just settle for things, why would we have this eternal longing and desire for more? I believe its because God wants to do more and I'm excited to see what that 'more' is for my life!

I'd love to hear more peoples' thoughts on some of this stuff! Let me know what you think!
